WHO MADE THIS CRAZY GAME?
Brexit: The Board Game of Second Chances is made by Bad Hipster Games.
Bad Hipster combines years of publishing, gaming, and distribution experience to bring you fun, innovative board games. We specialize in niche games (like, you know, board games about one very pesky EU referendum) with gameplay dynamics that can be enjoyed by experienced gamers and newbies alike.

MEET THE BAD HIPSTERS
DANI HEDLUND
CEO, Co-Creator, Project Lead, Artist, & Web Designer
During the day, Dani is the CEO of an international literacy nonprofit and the Editor-in-Chief of the world’s loveliest literary journal. By night, she draws silly pictures of British political figures, writes the least-funny jokes in this game, and insists on making all cats wear hipster glasses.
RACE GARBER
Co-Creator & Game Designer
During the day, Race works as an attorney, meticulously studying, following, and writing rules of law. By night, Race works as a game designer, meticulously testing, rewriting, and agonising over rules of gameplay. Because…priorities!
GEOFF ABERDEIN
Political Advisor & Strategic Media Specialist
Straight from the Scottish Government—where he worked as Chief of Staff to the First Minister—Geoff now spends his days advising big finance on the changing political landscape. By night, he takes those same skills, fills them with bantz, and laughs his way through helping this strange little game come to life.
JON SCHINDEHETTE
Game Design Advisor & Production Manager
During the day, Jon is a leader in the gaming industry, working as an art director for the largest gaming companies in the business. By night, he champions creator-owned projects and emerging artists in weird and wonderful endeavors.
He also just made a foot stool. It’s very solid.
HELEN MAIMARIS
Campaign Manager
During the day, Helen is the COO of an international literacy nonprofit and a consummate consumer of comics. By night, she gets pulled into all the silly projects her boss lady starts, bribed into helping her run them with gin & tonics, and then rewarded for her hard work with potatoes.
ALL THE OTHER BAD HIPSTERS
Making a weird game like Brexit: The Board Game of Second Chances takes a village. So, in addition to our core team, we are also joined by dozens of amazing folks we’ve sweet-talked into playtesting, advising on jokes, helping us understand social media (seriously, how does Instagram work?), video editing, and generally telling us whether our Farage joke is just too mean.
